6-mile hike in the seldom-seen back-country of the John Day Fossil
Beds National
Monument, Clarno Unit. You’ll discover colorful
rock formations, fossils and native plants. Early spring flowers will be blooming, so bring cameras. Cost: $20 contribution covers transportation,
guidebook, and carbon-neutral program contribution.
